Things to do in the centre (?)

Dependent upon location and premises.
Income stream? Good for the environment? Good for the community? Good for individuals?
We have to decide what we want to achieve with the centre before we decide how to use the space. May have to be careful - species adapt to their environments! Create an environment for consumers/customers/spectators and we create......
Please add more ideas:
Wholefood, organic local food, fair-trade food and other stuff;
Internet cafe/internet access;
Hot tea/coffee, smoothies, milk-shakes;
Snacks, cake, buttered scones etc;
Sandwiches;
Jacket-potato/curry tea-times/clubs;
Sell donated goods/books/plants (organic gardening club);
Green goods eg wind-up lights, green supermarket, green (Christmas) presents/cards;
Green books/Amazon opp;
Books/pamphlets/leaflets from other centres (eg C.A.T.) for sale;
Donated...to read in shop/library;
Green info display!!!
Learn new skills/understandings, widen horizons;
Green/community notice-boards to find out what's going on in Preston;
Green networking (!!!), make new green friends;
Sub-letting space to other good causes/not-for-profits/co-ops/charities;
An alternative-therapy collective;
Room rental/use (Pound/head?)... existing groups, clubs, societies and start new ones, evening classes -'Preston Free University', band-practice/jamming, business-meetings, parties;
Social evenings, bingo, green quiz nights, barbeques;
Art gallery, arts and craft group/sales;
Friends' Schemes, business sponsors, web-site affiliations/Google AdWords;
Form new co-ops...
